12 Items You Need to Organize Your Kitchen

Last month my husband and I moved into a two-bedroom trailer. The kitchen is…tiny to say the least. There is almost no counter-space, one drawer that if you open it slams into the refrigerator, very few cupboards, and I’ve had to put half of my kitchen appliances in boxes because I have no room for them in the kitchen. I’ll admit, my kitchen is not very organized. That’s why I’m making this post – to help you and me organize our kitchens more efficiently, especially if you have a small kitchen like I do.

So, I went to the place I always go when I want to buy something: Amazon! Here are twelve great products that you can buy to help organize your kitchen, and hopefully, they’ll help me to organize mine!

#1. Expandable Stackable Kitchen Counter Shelf Organizer

This thing is pretty awesome. It’s a perforated stackable 2-tier shelf that expands from 13.75 inches to 26 inches. You can use it on your counter or in your cabinets to give you more space to stack things. I definitely need this myself! This one is in bronze, but I did see other colors on Amazon if that’s not your thing. And it’s inexpensive. So, if you need something to organize a small kitchen, this is for you!

#2. Storage Organizer Bins

These bins are mostly to organize your refrigerator or freezer, but I guess you could use them under your sink, in your pantry, or in a cabinet. Personally, I’d just use them for my refrigerator. It’s a great way to organize your space and help you keep track of the stuff in there. I know I lose things in my fridge all the time, because they get knocked down, pushed behind something else, or put in a drawer. Then, a few weeks later when they have gone bad, I discover them. “So, that’s where that went!” Then I’m disappointed because I didn’t get to eat it. Don’t let that happen to you! Buy an organizer today!

#3. 6-Piece Cabinet Organizer

I really want this one! I desperately need to organize my cabinets. And this white wire-rack style has six pieces, which is pretty cool. It’s a good price too. I mean, it’s nothing fancy, but it’ll organize your kitchen. It’s a bit of a kitchen organization DIY, except you don’t have to “build” anything. But you do have to set it up, so…yeah…I guess that works. I want several of them to organize all my cabinets, even my bathroom cabinets.

#4. Stackable Can Rack Organizer

I don’t know about you, but my husband and I are on a pretty tight budget, which means we eat a LOT of canned foods. So, this can rack organizer would be great for our kitchen, and I’m sure for yours as well. If you’re wondering where to put things in your kitchen cabinets, this will at least show you how to store your cans. And the next item will help you store your pasta, rice, and baking goods!

#5. 5-Piece Food Storage Container Set

We eat a LOT of pasta and rice in my house and normally I just keep them in their cardboard containers. But honestly, I think it would be so much easier if I had this container set. I could just fill up each one and then label it (like the picture at the top of this post). I also really like to label things, so this feeds my obsession.

#6. Drawer Organizer

While I have no drawers in my kitchen, I have two drawers by my laundry area that are currently the “junk” drawers in the house. As much as I tried to keep them organized, everything just rolls around in there and gets jumbled up. That’s why I love this drawer organizer. You can use it in your kitchen, or anywhere else you have drawers. And you can always label the areas too if you need even more organization in your life.

#7. Under Sink Shelf Storage

I love this thing and really want it for under my kitchen sink. All my cleaning supplies are down there and it is really hard to reach them because they get shoved into the back. This thing is adjustable so you can slide the shelves around, making room for the pipes under your sink. Now, this may or may not make it a little unsteady, I don’t know. But as long as you aren’t shaking the cabinets or dancing to STOMP in your kitchen, I doubt it will matter much.

#8. Over the Cabinet Door Organizer

Personally, I would never put this on the outside of my cabinets because I would hit it, the cats would attack it, and it just wouldn’t look good. But, it would be great for inside the cabinet! I use cutting boards constantly, plus my husband has a TV tray, and right now we’re keeping them on top of the fridge. Not ideal, that’s for sure. That’s why I’d love to have this organizer because I would get it from the fridge and it wouldn’t be in the way, taking up valuable cabinet space.

#9. Over the Cabinet Bag Organizer

We have two cats so we always need plastic bags to scoop the litter box. I’m not really sure why people without pets keep plastic bags, but I feel like pretty much everyone does. Regardless, this organizer is perfect for storing your bags and again doesn’t take up cabinet space because it hangs on a cabinet door. I really need one of these because right now my bags are taking up an entire cabinet (yes, we have that many). And the design is pretty sleek and modern as well, which I personally enjoy.

#10. Over the Cabinet Cleaning Supply Organizer

We have a lot of cleaning supplies, and whether I put this in the kitchen or bathroom (or both) I would love this organizer. It doesn’t take up valuable cabinet space and keeps my sponges and stuff off the interior of the cabinet so I don’t have to worry about mold. Besides, my cabinet doors aren’t doing anything for my kitchen so why not put them to work, you know?

#11. Slide-Out Pantry

This is awesome!!! I have to get one of these! We actually have a perfect space between the fridge and the counter that would fit this thing and it would make organizing my spices so much easier than trying to find them on the lazy susan in the bottom of our cabinets. So, if you don’t have a pantry (I know we don’t) or if you just need more room in your pantry, this is an amazing option to give you space and organization you need.

#12. Wrap Organizer

At my parents’ house, they had a LOT of wraps: aluminum, plastic, wax, etc. We don’t have as many here, but mostly because I haven’t gotten around to buying them yet. But this organizer is great because it keeps all your wraps in one place so you don’t have to go searching for them. And, when paired with the other organizers, means that you use the least amount of space for the most amount of products.

So, with all these great products there should be no more digging around in cabinets trying to find things. I know I want one of everything. What about you? If you’re interested in buying these products, just click on their pictures and it’ll take you straight to the link on Amazon. Super easy, right?

Hey, go ahead and comment below with your kitchen and any ideas you may have on how to keep it organized! I’d love to hear from you!
