Monday Encouragement: God’s Plan is Perfect

There are many times when I question what God’s plan is for my life. Things go wrong or don’t turn out how I expected and I wonder if God is there and knows what’s going on. Did He intend for this to happen? Does He remember my bills or deadlines? Does He know how old I am? Does He remember how long I’ve been waiting for this dream to come to fruition?

What we all need to remember is that God’s plan is perfect. Whether we’re in hard times or good times, whether we’re seeing our dreams come true or still feel like we’re wandering in the dark – God is there. He’s got this. Everything that happens to us will be used for His purpose. We may not see it right now, we may not see it until we reach Heaven, but one day we’ll understand why we went through what we did or why something had to happen that way or why we met that person.

Now, I’m not saying everything in our lives is from God. Some things are results of bad decisions, either ours or someone else’s. Some things just stem from sin. But even if God didn’t cause it, He can still use it.

So, this Monday, I want to encourage you that whatever you’re going through, trust God! Trust that His plan is perfect and that He will make beauty out of our ashes (Isaiah 61:3).

One of my favorite verses and one that I repeat the most to myself when I wonder what God is doing is Jeremiah 29:11

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Remember that God knows His plans for us and those plans are to prosper us, to give us hope and a great future!

I pray you all have an awesome and blessed week!

It’s funny that you wrote that today because I was just saying to the Lord some of those things myself yesterday about you and Justin. Lord, do you know they have bills to pay, etc. They really need your help. Then I kind of laughed it off because “of course” God knows and like you said He has a plan and perfect timing. Always praying for you both!
