One thing God has been teaching me for the past 7 months is that He always has a plan for us.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jer. 29:11)
11 In Him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will, 12 in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of His glory. (Eph. 1:11-12)
39 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, 40 since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect. (Heb. 11:39-40)
Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether My teaching comes from God or whether I speak on My own. (John 7:17)
And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. (Rom. 8:27)
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will. (Rom. 12:2)
God’s plans and His will are the same. He has different plans for each of His children and, if we will have a quiet time with Him every day and listen for His voice, we will learn what that plan is as He chooses to reveal it.
So, if you are worried about living life on your own or wondering what choice to make right now, turn to God! Ask Him what His will is for your life and then obey whatever He tells you to do. His will is perfect and, if you are faithful and obedient to Him, He will make sure that His will is accomplished in your life.
