    Doubt is Not Okay

    Lately, I’ve been seeing a lot of preachers saying that doubt is okay. Now, their point is probably valid – I haven’t watched all of their sermons and maybe they’re just saying that God won’t punish us for doubting, which I believe is true. And yes, God can “handle” our doubts (I hear that from preachers a lot) and I think what they mean by those words is that God isn’t thrown off when we doubt Him, which is also true because He already knew that we would doubt Him and when.     Saturday Thoughts: How to Handle Non-Christians

    I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how we, as followers of Christ, should handle non-Christians. I haven’t been around non-Christians for much of my life until I started ballroom dancing. I grew up around Christians and in the church – even my homeschool group was Christian. After I quit ballroom dancing I was surrounded again by Christians, except when I went to college for a year.     I’ve been reviewing some sad yet interesting statistics on Christianity. Here are some that really stood out to me.   While Christianity is still the largest religious group (as of 2015) in the world with around 2.3 billion professing to be “Christian”, in Europe Christians are actually dying faster than they are being born and Christianity is in decline.
