Welcome to Live, Love and Cherish!

This is my first ever post on my new blog for women! Yay! I’m so excited to get started! I hope you already read my “About Me” page, so you know a little of my background. If not, go ahead and do that so you’ll get where I’m coming from. Not that I’ve talked about everything, of course. You’ll learn more about me in every post. I plan on posting twice a week, so make sure you check back every Tuesday and Thursday for more great info!

I’m sure you’re wondering, why another Christian blog for married women? I mean, there are plenty of them out there. I get that, I really do. I asked myself the same question. Actually, I asked the Lord that question. “Lord, why do you want me to write a blog for Christian women? Don’t you have enough daughters doing that already?” But I knew it was what He wanted, even if I don’t under the why, so here I am!

What makes me different from the other bloggers? Well, my blog isn’t going to just be about the Lord, or living a Christian life, or being a godly wife. It will have all those things, but I don’t think we just need spiritual health and wellness. I think it is equally important to be physically, emotionally, and mentally healthy as well.

I’m going to talk about the struggles we face as godly wives, financial stresses, silly fights, veganism, working out at home, organizing a home (especially a small one because we currently live in a trailer), healthy living (not just veganism), recipes, skin care…pretty much anything that can help a godly, submissive Christian wife be healthy in all four areas of her life.

My main purpose for this blog is to connect with other women. Honestly, I’m pretty lonely. My husband and I just moved to a new city where I know nobody. We haven’t found a church yet. And besides my mom and one other friend, I don’t have many people to talk to. I adore my husband and he’s my best friend, but I need some girl time. I think many of you, whatever your situation, probably feel the same way. So please, leave a comment! I’d love to get to know you all! Just give your name and a brief introduction on who you are and what stage of life you’re in (kids, no kids, newly married, married 20 years, etc.). I think what we all need is to connect to one another.

I really hope you enjoy the journey I’m on. I know I’m really looking forward to meeting you all!

~ Tara
